Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of this school for two year 1 primary teachers. We have received incredible feedback from our candidates about the school staff. They have been described as encouraging, welcoming, supportive and positive at all times.

About the School and Year 1 Roles:

  • A population of over 200 children
  • Independent mainstream primary school
  • The school is passionate about MFL, Food Technology, Art and Life Skills
  • x1 full time & x1 part time position available
  • PPA time will be given to support you in this role
  • Located in Plymouth – Easily accessible by public transport or car
  • Weekly paid through PAYE – we do not use an umbrella company
  • Online timesheets – Teaching Personnel complete these for you making your day easier
  • Access to a CPD Academy – SEN Courses such as Team-Teach
  • Roles to start between November and December

Requirements:

  • QTS & relevant teaching qualification: NQT’s would be suited to this role also
  • Experience of working in a Primary school environment
  • Strong behaviour management –  social and emotional behavioural needs
  • Creative attitude
  • x2 contactable teaching references
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS – This can be purchased through Teaching Personnel for just GBP40 (no needed if you already have this)
  • DBS Update Service subscription - This can be purchased through Teaching Personnel for just GBP13 (no needed if you already have this)
  • Up to date personal statement of CV
