Year 1 Teacher – Temp to Perm role in Colne Primary School

  • Experience in KS1 is a necessity and QTS.

A Primary School in the heart of Colne, East Lancashire have approached Teaching Personnel in order to source and appoint a Year 1 class teacher to take up a full time teaching role in KS1 from the start of September 2017. The role is expected to continue until the end of the academic year (Summer 2) with the view to a temp. to perm. option being available.

The Head teacher has notified the agency on the following…’I am looking for a teacher who can come into the KS1 department and share GOOD and OUTSTANDING practice. We are clear in that we would like a practitioner who can come into school and hit the ground running, someone who wants to develop their teaching career and potentially move on to leadership/additional teaching and learning responsibilities’.

The school is located outside the main town centre in Colne, and is easily commutable by train and car. With this said, there are a number of children in the school who come from a range of multi-cultural backgrounds and so this affects the development of language and communication skills. The Head teacher has commented that she would like to appoint a teacher who has worked closely with either the Read Write Inc. or the Letters and Sounds Phonics Scheme.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
