The Primary School is set in large and extensive grounds in a village environment. The school has grown in size over the last few years and now has two forms of entry in each year group and over 400 pupils. Staff are dedicated, hardworking and supportive of each other. Phase Leaders support their teams to ensure that staff and children achieve their best. The school has a Learning Development Centre and Learning Mentor. The school has positive links with the local community, notably with church groups and the secondary schools. The school was las inspected by Ofsted at the end of June 2014, where the school was judged ‘Good’. The report states that the quality of teaching is good with some that is outstanding.
If you are a dedicated Key Stage 1 teacher and have a proven track record of success then this may be the role for you. The ideal teacher will be the following:
• an excellent classroom practitioner
• keen to make learning fun
• have high expectations of behaviour and achievement
• a good team player with a 'can do' attitude
