Key stage 1 NQT required for Salford primary school, Working closely with the key stage 1 leader in order to push the department too the next level – outstanding.
A primary school I work very closely with in Salford are looking to appoint an NQT to work closely with the KS1 coordinator to work closely with the department in order to get it to the next levels of the Ofsted requirements. At the moment the school are graded good, but only with maximum support,
The primary school is a 1 and a half form entry school where each class has at least 1 teaching assistant supporting the teacher on a daily basis. Not only this, throughout school there are specific intervention specialists working closely with children who need slight improvements around literacy and numeracy. This is a fantastic opportunity for an NQT as the school is only growing and pushing towards working at outstanding levels.
Ideally the head teacher would like your final placement to be either good or outstanding but have a least outstanding elements within. You will receive maximum support and development opportunities, but working along side a very strong phase leader will be great support in itself.
If you are in your final year at university, and feel this role is for you please don’t hesitate to send me your details to: firstname.lastname@example.org and I will contact you.
