Year 1 teacher - Rochdale (OL11)

  • Knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Key Stage 1 experience

Are you an experienced Key Stage 1 Teacher, specifically Year 1 teacher who strives for pupils to make progress? If you are looking for a post starting in September through till July and can commute to Rochdale (OL11) to teach the Year 1 class this is the right opportunity for you.

Our client school in Rochdale close to the M62/A58 and local bus routes I have a mat leave starting in September for a Year 1 Teacher this is on a full time basis.

The School:

There are around 310 children in the school and they have 12 classes from Nursery to Year 6. Every classroom has a Teacher and Teaching Assistant; there is also additional classroom and admin support staff who all contribute to the positive ethos within the school.

The Primary School is a busy, friendly and popular school with a warm and welcoming ethos which is recognised by all who visit. The Staff, Parents and Governors of the school all work together to try to provide the best for the families that it serves and they want their children to enjoy their time and education with us and to achieve the highest possible standards in all aspects of their lives.

EYFS Teachers wishing to apply should have the following;

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
