A school we work closely with at Teaching Personnel are seeking a lower Key Stage 1 (Year 1) Teacher to start in September for a long term position which could lead to a permanent placement.

The school has recently been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and is in the ….. Tottington area of Bury. The school has a supportive team and require an enthusiastic practitioner looking to be a part of a school which is a big part of the local community. All members of staff work hard to support children’s next steps, progression and attainment. Subject leaders work hard to support across the school and key actions have been successfully targeted.

Candidates with all ranges of experience are encouraged to apply, including NQT’s.

Traveling to the school is easily commutable from off the M62/M60/A6 routes and also has good public transport links via bus and tram routes.

Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as National Association of SEN, National Autistic Society, Ruth Miskin, Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, St Patrick’s RC High and Leeds Trinity University. These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability, Effective Adult Learning Support, Implications for Challenging Behaviour, Meeting the Emotional, Social and Mental Health Needs of Children and Young People, Differentiation, Data Handling, Assessment for Learning, Planning for Progression, Prevent Duty, Read Write Inc. and Child Protection in Education. In addition to this we work alongside many leaders of education and have our own ex-head teacher that provides candidates with bespoke, high-quality training.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
