Do you have experience supporting students in primary school?
Teaching Personnel are working with an excellent primary school based in Macclesfield who require an experienced and knowledgeable teaching assistant to work within a KS2 class. This position is to start in September on a full-time basis.
Within this role, you will support the class teacher to prepare and deliver enriching learning activities in line with the National Curriculum. You will deliver one-to-one and small group interventions on core subjects such as literacy and maths interventions to improve learning outcomes and progress 8 attainment scores. You will use effective behaviour management strategies to ensure that the classroom environment is controlled and promotes productive learning.
Teacher requirements:
- Experience supporting children or young adults in education.
- Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to build rapport with students and other members of staff.
Key highlights:
- £1540 - £1800 per month, dependent on relevant qualifications and experience.
- Paid weekly, via PAYE.
- September start.
- Full-time and Part-time roles available.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
