A Roman Catholic Primary School in Salford (M7) are currently recruiting for a new Year 1 Teacher starting in April on a 12 month contract to cover a maternity leave of the current year 1 teacher

The Salford School is a one form entry Primary School. There have been many changes to staff over the past 5 years, but the Headteacher now has a solid staffing team in place, something which has been identified by OFSTED.

The Headteacher is looking for a Year 1 Teacher to start at their school in April. The ideal candidate will have experience of Teaching at Key Stage One on placement or in a recent role, and will come with a sound knowledge of the National Curriculum at this level. The Salford school encourage both fully qualified and Newly Qualified Teachers and will fully support the candidate in terms of NQT Induction. CPD will be fully encouraged to develop identified areas. Personality is key at this school, the Head looks for teachers with a warm, caring and nurturing personality.

This is a Catholic School, so being a practising Catholic or holding the Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies will be of benefit or at least you must be committed to supporting the ethos of their faith.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
