Year 1 (KS1) SEN Teaching Assistant: Autism

Teaching Personnel Ltd is currently seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work in Chipping Barnet. Individuals considering this position must have experience working within a classroom based setting,


Teaching Assistants who are looking for a career change or a new opportunity:

  • Ideally have a Degree or Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • 1-1 support with Autistic Pupil
  • Minimum six months experience working with children at various age groups
  • SEN experience (essential)

The Role:

In this role you will be supporting children with differing abilities and capabilities. The ideal candidate will be someone who is willing to raise attainment, ensuring that all safeguarding policies are adhered to and has a positive attitude towards delivering 1-1 support to pupils.

This role will be working on a part time basis for 5 days a week.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
