Year 1 Class Teacher - Sefton

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a Key Stage 1 teacher to fill on behalf of a Sefton Primary School. The position is until the end of the academic year but may continue next year as a permanent role for the right candidate. The school in Sefton received a 'Good' rating last year by Ofsted. The school is keen on developing new teachers and offers continuous career development opportunities for all its staff and offers free and subsidised CPD courses. NQT's are free to apply.

  • Earn up to £135 per day.
  • School rated as 'GOOD' by Ofsted

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be an energetic and reliable teacher who will be able to enhance learning whilst delivering stimulating lessons to children of varying abilities.

The teacher must understand the KS1 curriculum and be happy to cover the summer term. In this role you will be supported by two other Year 1 class teachers in regards to shared planning and preparation, assessing class work and homework. The Senior Leadership Team will offer you full support and guidance and are keen to unearth a great Teacher to keep in a permanent role.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
