Job description

Teaching Personnel is currently working alongside a Primary School in Liverpool who are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work in Key Stage 2, to support a pupil in Year 4 with behavioural issues and suspected ADHD.

The role is to start as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be expected to provide one to one support to the child inside and outside the classroom. The position does have the longevity to continue until Easter 2018 and this is an excellent opportunity to make an impression amongst Senior Leaders in school who have contacts across the Liverpool area.

The Head teacher has informed the agency that she is looking for a 'committed and experienced practitioner who is keen to come into school and impact on the children's learning. She is looking for someone who has experience within the last 12 months of supporting pupils with SEN or in Key Stage 2.

The school are keen to see applying candidates as soon as this week. They would like to see a number of CVs and then shortlist through a trial period. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
