An average sized Primary School in Warton (just outside if Lytham) have approached Teaching Personnel this morning in order to put 'the feelers out' for a Year 6 teacher to begin as soon as January. The Head teacher has noted the reason for the two term cover will be to ensure the class currently being led by the Deputy Head teacher (who is leaving to take a new role) will need to be covered. The Head teacher also noted that the applying candidates will need to be strong with subject knowledge particularly as this is the class sitting the KS2 SATs. It was also added that the behaviour of the children in the Year 6 class is particularly difficult, as it is a boy heavy class. Up for the challenge?

The expected rate per day will be negotiable depending on how experienced you are. It is expected that the rate will be from £100+. You must hold QTS and have completed your induction. It will be expected that you will commit to the full two terms and at the end of this period there will be an opportunity to apply for the permanent role. This role will be to work full time, five days a week from January 8^th 2018.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
