The Headteacher and governing body of a reputable Primary School on the outskirts of Chorley are keen to secure a full time class teacher to join their small team from September 2020. The role will be to teach a mixed Y2/3 Class.

Due to the amount of differentiation involved in the role and upcoming KS1 assessments, the Headteacher feels this role would not be suitable for an NQT. The ideal candidate will have taught for a number of years and have Y2 teaching experience and good knowledge of KS1 assessments.

The Headteacher and governing body of a larger than average Primary School in Preston are on the look out for a Newly Qualified Teacher to join their Lower Key Stage 1 Team from September 2020. The year group is yet to be confirmed and the school will match the skill-set of the candidate.

The successful applicant will have the full support of the Headteacher and the staff team and the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher will be leading interventions to close gaps in knowledge for specific pupils in order to fully prepare them for upcoming assessments. There will also be the opportunity to network regularly with Y2 Teachers from local schools ; whilst attending regular CPD sessions organised by the school. The role will be covering a planned absence and will continue for the entire 2020/21 academic year with the opportunity to apply for a permanent class teaching role in school.

The Headteacher is looking for a practitioner with a genuine passion for making a positive impact to the lives of children and someone who can contribute new and fresh ideas to the school. You must have experience teaching within a KS1 class and hold GOOD-EXCELLENT reference from your most recent Head teacher. This is a full time class teaching role and will begin in September 2020. Experience of delivering phonics is essential for this role.
