Teaching Assistant needed in Swansea

An exciting opportunity to join a two form entry school in the Swansea area for a CACHE L2 TA from September 2017. The role is part-time and will be for 16 hours a week. The successful candidate will be expected to work across the age ranges.

The successful candidate will have; a relevant L2 or higher childcare qualification, have good communication skills and excellent literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE or equivalent, Grade C or above). Good ICT skills would also be desirable.

Experience of working with children as well as a desire to support pupils to reach their full potential through one-to-one work, group work and whole class support. Knowledge of the Key Stage 2 Curriculum would also be desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
