Welsh teacher needed part-time in Swansea

Job description

Our client based in Swansea are looking to recruit a Welsh medium teacher to join their excellent team in January 2018, on a part-time basis. The school is in an excellent central location with easy transport links.

The school has much to offer potential candidates including:

  • Identifying clear teaching objectives and specifying how they will be taught and assessed
  • Setting tasks which challenge pupils and ensure high levels of interest
  • Demonstrating appropriate and demanding expectations
  • Setting clear targets, building on prior attainment
  • Identifying SEN or very able pupils and differentiate work accordingly
  • Provide clear structures for lessons maintaining pace, motivate and challenge
  • Make effective use of assessment and ensure coverage of programmes of study

To apply you must be eligible to work in the UK and meet all national safeguarding criteria. Teaching Personnel will carry out vetting checks on successful candidates so you will need to have a Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service and be registered with the Education Workforce Council.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
