Welsh Speaking Teachers needed

We are currently looking to appoint enthusiastic and exceptional teachers to deliver lessons through the medium of Welsh up to Key Stage 4 (KS4) in schools within the Swansea, Neath, Port Talbot, Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire area. The schools are looking to the right teachers on a temporary basis until summer however the role is expected to continue into the next academic year for the right candidates.
The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching through the Welsh language to pupils in Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) and have excellent classroom management. Applicants must have excellent spoken and written Welsh language skills.

Teaching through the medium of Welsh in our schools is not only rewarding but essential in keeping the Welsh language prominent within our society.

The schools welcome applicants from Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT's) as well as more experienced practitioners.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
