WELSH MEDIUM TEACHER - RCT

We have been contacted by one of our partner schools to support with their staffing needs. The school are looking for Welsh Speaking Teachers and will be interested in seeing CV's for all subject specialists.

As a dynamic Teacher you will add value to this ever improving school as they seek to improve on their latest Estyn Report which deemed the school as 'GOOD'. The successful candidate will be confident enough to manage challenging behaviour and posses a clear understanding of their specialist subjects curriculum.

• Teachers Roles within a Welsh Medium Secondary School
• Pupils aged between 11-19
• Large sized school with approx. 1000 pupils
• Strong school ethos encouraging pupils to develop academically and socially

The successful Teachers and the role:

• Hold QTS status including NQT's
• Have experience of teaching through the Welsh language
• Show a passion for teaching and the capabilities to teach mixed abilities
• The understanding and the ability to work with children with challenging behaviour
• Registered with the Education Workforce Council
• The suitable candidate will have strong subject knowledge as this role does require detailed awareness of the national curriculum
• Positive record of student development, subject knowledge and classroom behaviour management skills are essential
• Full teaching responsibilities including preparation and assessment in Welsh
