Welfare Assistant Required for SEN School in Newcastle

Job description

Teaching Personnel are recruiting a Welfare Assistant with Personal Care experience for an SEN school in Newcastle starting ASAP.

Ideally applicants would have experience with Personal Care in either a Primary or Secondary setting. Additional training such as Team Teach and Moving & Handling is advantageous but not essential. We would also welcome applicants with relevant transferrable skills such Care Assistants or Support Workers.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 6 months experience in delivering Personal Care
  • Experience supporting children with SEN or a willingness to learn
  • Moving & Handling qualification desired but not mandatory

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
