Teaching personnel are seeking to recruit an experienced specialist support assistant, to provide 1:1 support for a reception pupil with visual impairments. The role is to start in November 2016 and continue though until at least December 2016, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.
Experience supporting visually impaired pupils and working within EYFS/KS1 setting, with excellent classroom based references is essential for this role. Experience using Makaton and PECS is highly sought after.
The school is based within the heart of Blackburn and is easily accessible via all transport links and Junctions 3 and 4 of the M65.
