Job description

SEN support LSA required for Y6 pupil

  • Hours are 08.30- 15.30
  • 1:1 SEN role

Teaching Personnel are working with a SEN school in Solihull who are looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to assist a pupil in Year 6. The child has visual and hearing impairments so the school are looking for someone who has experience of supporting children in Key Stage 2 and have worked within a specialist setting.

The role is part time and is 3 days a week working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 08:30 – 3:30. The school have received additional funding from the local authority so it is a long term position until the child leaves the school.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
