Unqualified Teachers Required

Job description

The role of an unqualified teacher is suitable for a variety of different professionals including:
  • Degree graduate with a passion for education
  • Teaching Assistant
  • Sports Coach
  • Youth Worker
  • Support Worker
  • Learning Mentor

As an unqualified teacher you could either be covering the whole curriculum or specialising in your chosen subject and supporting students as a replacement for their absent teacher.

The expected salary to work as an unqualified teacher depends on experience, as well as other variables such as planning expectations and distance and from the school and can be between £1,100 - £1,700 per month.

This is valuable paid experience which will support your PGCE application in the future.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
