Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit graduates who are considering a career in secondary teaching or those who wish to gain classroom management experience as a cover supervisor / unqualified teacher to decide if this is the career for you!

Teaching Personnel are the preferred supplier of unqualified teachers and support staff across secondary schools in Doncaster!

For September, our client secondary schools are seeking the support from an unqualified teacher for classroom supervision cover on short notice for reasons such as; short term teacher sickness, internal training days and time away for planning and marking.


  • Cover Supervisor required from September 2019 - unqualified teaching
  • Flexible, temporary work around your availability e.g. 1 to 5 days a week
  • 8:30am - 3:30pm
  • Earn up to £360 per week
  • Great way to gain classroom and behaviour management experience if considering secondary teaching / teacher training

Role And Responsibilities

  • You can expect a call on the morning of, from Teaching Personnel, regarding cover supervision work for that day (access to your own availability diary!)
  • Delivering pre-set work from the school to a class of students and ensuring they remain on task with this.
  • Get a feel of what it would be like to be a secondary school teacher, covering a range of Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 lessons in the absence of the permanent teacher.
  • Great opportunity to work in a number of secondary schools across South and Central Manchester!
