Teaching Personnel are currently seeking experienced educators to provide Maths & English tuition in the Southampton area.
As a 1:1 tutor you will be planning and implementing individualised lessons in 1 or more core subjects to pupils who are not currently accessing education. Most of these young people will have varied SEND & SEMH needs that present as a barrier to their learning. We have seen an increase in tuition requests to support pupils working at a KS3 & KS4 curriculum level and specialists within these fields would be beneficial to fulfil current demand. However, we do receive tuition requests for Primary pupils so welcome applicants from both backgrounds.
You are able to accept as much or as little work as you desire and this role is ideal for those seeking flexibility.

Requirements:
- Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS)
- Endless enthusiasm and patience
- Have some experience working with young people with SEN & challenging behaviour (desirable)
- Ability to differentiate effectively to provide an inclusive education for all

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
