Tutors (LAC) - Oldham - immediate start

Job description

- Are you a Qualified Teacher or do you have significant tutoring experience?

- Are you currently teaching full time and looking for a more flexible role?


There are a number of positions available for Tutors to work with young people who are currently being educated outside of mainstream education. The young people who require tuition may have various needs including: MLD, SEMH or the tuition may be required for young mothers who have recently had a baby.

Each referral will genrally involve working on a 1:1 basis with each pupil for 10 hours per week which usually means working 2 hours per day with each young person. If you are looking to work more than the 10 hours per week then you can of course take on more than one pupil.


Tutors will have the opportunity to:


- Work on a 1:1 basis and develop strong working relationships with young people and their families

- Work in co-operation with LEA's and Social Workers

- Work flexible hours to work around your personal commitments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
