Private Tutor

Flexible working options

£20-£25 per hour

Northamptonshire & surrounding counties

I am working with local authorities & Virtual Schools across the UK providing private tuition for Looked After Children, children at risk of exclusion and children without a place within a mainstream school. I am looking for enthusiastic & passionate tutors to deliver tuition sessions in Maths, English, and Science to students with a range of abilities. We will obtain a referral form from the local authority/virtual school, detailing the student's ability levels which will then be passed to you to prepare suitable sessions.

Join us and earn £20+ per hour, teaching a subject you love, with flexible working hours. Providing tuition through Teaching Personnel is the ideal job for stay-at-home parents, graduates and former teachers that wish to continue working with children without the hassle of a classroom based role.

Tuition offers complete flexibility, you can take on as much or as little tuition as you wish, the only limit is your own diary. Lessons are typically 1-2 hours long, up to 3 times a week and usually take place at a student's home, or at a public place such as a library or community centre.

We work with students from KS1 through to KS4, with many seeking help for specific examinations, such as SATs, GCSEs or A-Levels.

Your roles & responsibilities

  • Provide lessons to students and prepare them for their reintegration to mainstream education
  • Create innovative methods to teach and support the child creatively in order to maximise potential
  • Constantly keep up with the curriculum and teaching databases and personalise them to your students

The essential requirements:

  • National Curriculum knowledge
  • Teaching or tutoring experience in the UK
  • Educated to a degree level
  • Clear and valid DBS registered on the Update Service
  • You must have eligibility to work in the UK
  • You must have a passion and drive to help others learn and fulfil their potential
  • Tutoring/teaching experience- 1 year preferably

For more information about our tuition service and how we can help you take the next steps in private tuition, call me today on 01604 521215 to discuss your options. I am currently inundated with referrals for students needing a tutor, could you help?
