Are you looking to get out of a classroom setting but still want to stay within education?
Would you like to work on a 1:1 basis with children?
Do you feel that you have an empathetic approach and understanding towards children who may have experienced trauma, been recently taken into care or have additional needs?
If it was a yes to all of the above then we would love for you to consider registering with us to be put forward for some of our tuition roles. We work closely with Local Authorities who have a number of children that aren’t accessing education for a number of reasons and need tuition in the interim until a suitable school can be found for them.
The referrals we receive can be for primary or secondary children and will normally need core subjects to be covered. However, some pupils may not engage with tuition straight away and will need to slowly build up a trusting relationship with the chosen tutor.
The location of roles will vary but Oxfordshire is an area where we have a number of outstanding referrals.
Who are we looking for?
- Compassionate individuals committed to making a difference to vulnerable young students
- Nurturing, patient teachers who are committed to their pupils
- Confident teachers who can deal with challenging behaviour
- Teachers with an interest or experience in Counselling, Mental Health and Wellbeing
- Fully Qualified Teachers or unqualified teachers with a minimum of 3 years’ experience of planning and delivering academic work
- Enhanced DBS Child Only
