TUTOR JOB - SCHOOL BASED

Job description

"The highly effective leadership team work with a common purpose to create the optimum learning environment for the students of the school."

I am currently working on behalf of a large secondary school in Northampton that are looking for a 1:! tutor to work solely with children who need extra support across the core subjects.

As a school they have a large percentage of students with extra funding and require 1:1 support on a weekly basis.

Tuition within schools not only improves attainment but also can develop a child's personal well-being. The transition in a students development through the means of tuition is incredible and if you are a teacher that is looking to develop relationships, work 1:1 with students across maths, English and/or science, plan and tailor sessions and improve students educational experience then this is the role for you.

The school itself is located in Higham Ferrers and is an 11-18 comprehensive school which opened in 1980. Major renovations and extensions were completed in 1992 and has since provided outstanding facilities. Most recently in 2010 an Applied Learning Centre was built housing space for creative and media subjects. The school is now also having a new sports centre build and in 2015 the 3G sports surface was completed.

You will have a lot of support from the school with tuition and heads of departments will always monitor closely the progress the students are making.

If you are someone looking to manage their own diary, work load and make a real difference in education then please send your CV to Emma along with a cover letter.
