We’re looking for passionate Science Tutors who can help make science accessible, exciting, and empowering.

Are you a Teacher or Tutor with a talent for explaining complex ideas in a way that truly connects with students? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

We are currently recruiting Science Tutors in Sunderland and surrounding areas to provide high-quality academic support to students who need extra help. Sessions may take place in students' homes or local libraries, so flexibility is key.

What You’ll Need:

• Excellent communication skills and a strong command of written and spoken English

• A UK home address and eligibility to work in the UK

• A proactive, positive attitude and a genuine desire to motivate learners

• An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one – we can help)

• Experience working with children or young people, including those with SEND or SEMH needs

• A good understanding of the Science curriculum (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) and relevant exam boards

• Desirable: Classroom or 1:1 tutoring experience, along with recent safeguarding training

• Two recent professional references covering 24 months within the last 10 years

• A full UK driving licence is desirable, as some sessions may be face-to-face
