1:1 Tutor – Coventry Area
Location: Coventry and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible, during school hours
Setting: Pupil's Home or School Environment
Pay: Competitive rates, dependent on experience
We are seeking dedicated and experienced 1:1 Tutors to support pupils across Coventry. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide personalised educational support to students who require additional assistance to reach their full potential.
The Role
As a 1:1 Tutor, you will:
- Deliver tailored tuition sessions that meet the individual needs of each pupil.
- Support students in developing confidence, engagement, and academic progress.
- Adapt teaching methods and resources to suit different learning styles and abilities.
- Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback where required.
- Work collaboratively with schools, parents, and other professionals to ensure positive outcomes.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
- Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or classroom support.
- Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Access to a vehicle is desirable due to travel between pupil locations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
