Teaching Personnel, the UKs leading education recruitment company, are looking to hire a Tuition Manager. The Tuition Manager will take responsibility for managing the delivery of the Company’s tuition solutions under the National Tutoring Programme (NTP).

This role is remote and can be based anywhere in England and Wales. The successful Tuition Manager will be part of a team of Tuition Managers working across Teaching Personnel who will report to the Director of Tuition and work with clients across a wide area supporting their tuition requirements. The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • To understand the business objectives in relation to delivering the NTP and drive results in line with this
  • To provide effective feedback to senior management and Tuition Director in relation to the NTP via monthly meetings
  • To source new candidates and transition existing candidates to work as tutors
  • To successfully manage the induction of tutors for the NTP including professional development courses and through briefing on roles and responsibilities
  • To market and sell the NTP to relevant and new using schools in an allocated geographical area
  • To conduct meetings with relevant schools to discuss and sell the benefits of the NTP
  • To effectively match schools with the relevant tutors for NTP placements

The Successful applicant 

We are looking for someone who has previous experience and success as working as a recruitment consultant or coordinating tuition in education. We are welcoming applications from people in any sector who have knowledge and understanding of tuition.

The successful applicant will be someone with an expertise in growing business and developing client relationships, who can consult with a client at a senior level. We are looking for someone who is an ambassador for Teaching Personnel and who demonstrates our core values of championing quality, always improving, teamwork and passion for education.

You will have the opportunity to demonstrate these skills and abilities within your application and at first interview. All interviews are taking place virtually over Teams/Zoom. We are able to hire immediately so will be looking to interview over the next few weeks.

Job details  

This role is remote and is full time (42.5 hours per week). Full IT equipment will be provided for effective home working and if the successful applicant is based close to a Teaching Personnel office, they will have the option to work in the office environment.

Salary and Benefits

In return for your hard work and commitment you can expect to benefit from:

  • Annual basic salary starting from GBP25,000 per year to reflect skills and experience plus performance-related commission
