Trainee SEN Teaching Assistant

Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a client school based in Cardiff. You will be asked to support the teacher with tasks of the day and work one to one with pupils from the class. The role will involve you supporting students aged between 4-16 years of age at this Ofsted rated "Outstanding" SEN school.

The role will see you working to ensure the students achieve their full potential both academically and personally. You will be Committed, empathetic, resilient, hardworking, fully focused as a team player and dedicated to succeed

The successful candidate:

  • Will need to have minimum A-C in Maths and/or English GCSEs and A Levels.
  • Will ideally be a Sports, Psychology or English Graduate (however this is not essential).
  • Will need to be available Monday- Friday 8:30-4PM
  • Will be confident handling challenging behaviour and SEN

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
