1:1 Teaching Assistant required in Thornhill, Southampton

We are currently seeking 1:1 Learning Support Assistants/Classroom Support for a Secondary SEMH provision based in Southampton. This all female provision offers educational and emotional support for vulnerable teenagers with severe or complex behavioural, emotional, social and mental health difficulties.

This is an 'Outstanding' special school, provides complete therapeutic support, expert safeguarding support and welfare. The school provides itself on its ability to be flexible in meeting the diverse needs of all its students, providing a completely individuals education, supported by a well-qualified and experienced team.

This position will require successful applicants to work on a 1:1 basis with the girls, acting as a supportive lead. Therefore providing pupils with assistance, ensuring that they're kept on track in their educational and personal development, through effective time and behaviour management.
