Primary Teacher (with ability to teach Maths and/or English to GCSE)
Location: Thetford, Norfolk
Start Date: January 2026 (or sooner if possible)

Teaching Personnel is supporting an independent specialist provision in Thetford to recruit a passionate Primary Teacher with the willingness or ability to teach Maths and/or English to GCSE level.
This setting provides trauma- and attachment-informed, therapeutic, child-centred education for pupils aged 6–17 with SEMH needs and additional SEND such as Autism, ADHD and communication difficulties. With small classes, extensive training and strong support systems, this is a highly rewarding opportunity for someone committed to making a real difference.
About the Role
You will:
- Build nurturing, motivating and professional relationships with learners
- Deliver engaging, meaningful and challenging lessons
- Teach Maths and/or English up to GCSE level (training/support available)
- Maintain high aspirations for all pupils, regardless of needs
- Support students with complex and sometimes challenging behaviours
- Contribute to curriculum and extra-curricular development
- Work collaboratively with therapeutic teams, parents/carers and external agencies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
