Are you a forward thinking Teacher of Science? Do you have a passion for teaching Science at a secondary school?

Teaching Personnel are looking for a fully qualified Science teacher to teach on a temporary basis from Easter until the end of this academic year - there is the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate! This large secondary school is on the outskirts of Plymouth city centre and has an engaging and supportive approach to teaching.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have QTS
  • Be an enthusiastic and engaging Teacher with a passion for teaching all Sciences!
  • Be available from Easter until the end of the academic year on a temporary, full time basis
  • Have experience with the planning, preparation and delivery of interesting and insightful lessons to key stage 3 and key stage 4
  • Be able to adapt lessons for pupils of different abilities

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £44, plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.
