The role would require you to offer support for the lower achieving pupils in the Year 1 class by taking them out in small intervention groups for an hour at a time. The support would be in all core subjects such as reading, writing and maths as the school want to prepare the pupils in the best ways possible in order to achieve the levels of results that they are capable of. The class is said to have some slightly challenging behaviour in it but non threatening behaviour mainly just some easily distracted pupils that tend to get each other all excited.
