Team Teach trained TA required in Preston!

Job description

A Behavioural Unit in the Preston area are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils who are often challenging in their behaviours and pupils with additional learning needs. The School specifically need a Teaching Assistant who holds a valid Team Teach qualification and has experience supporting pupils with SEMH Difficulties.

The School is smaller than average and caters for pupils with Autism, SEMH Difficulties, Learning Difficulties and Challenging behaviours. The School are looking for a full time Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible and candidates must be available full time.

The candidate suitable for this role will have experience supporting children or adults with challenging behaviours, be willing to work with pupils who can sometimes display violent behaviours and have an energetic, empathetic and enthusiastic attitude towards work. You must hold your Team Teach qualification and have a passion for working with pupils who are harder to reach.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £ 9 - 10 per hour
