Job description

Are you a Team Teach trained support assistant with experience supporting pupils with SEMH Difficulties?

If so, Teaching Personnel work closely with an SEN School based in the Rawtenstall area which caters for pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ODD and Learning Difficulties. Many of the pupils in School will display challenging behaviours and candidates MUST have strong behaviour management skills.

The School is smaller than average and currently has approximately 60 pupils on roll, the pupils are spread across KS3/KS4 and candidates must be happy to work with all age groups.

The School is based in the Rawtenstall area and has close links to public transport, ample on site parking and desirable working hours: 8.30am - 3.15pm Monday - Thursday and 8.30 - 2.30pm on a Friday.

The candidate must be hard working, have experience supporting pupils with SEMH Difficulties and be willing to work with pupils who display challenging behaviours.

The candidate MUST hold their Team Teach qualification or be willing to undertake this qualification in the next 6 weeks.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £54 - 64 per day

- Long term position available
