Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced teaching assistants to work in SEN settings in Hull. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to offer 1:1 support to a child with Severe Learning Difficulties to enhance attainment and provide encouragement to these pupils. The ideal candidate will be fully Team Teach trained, experienced in this area and thrive on the challenge of a varied and demanding role. We are looking for teaching assistants to work within our SEN schools based in the Hull and East Riding areas. We are keen to speak with teaching assistants who have a have a sincere passion from seeing results and are willing to work hard to ensure the developmental success of children. We also look forward to hearing from teaching assistants with any SEN and PMLD experience as well as ASC or other learning difficulty experiences.

The successful candidate must be able to remain patient and calm when the pupils become frustrated. The pupils social skills are relevantly poor meaning that it is important you can help enhance their communication skills and integrate them into the class.

You must have an up to date child only DBS registered on the update service or be wiling to apply for one. As a recruiter, Teaching Personnel have worked solely in education recruitment since 1996. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
