Team Teach trained behaviour assistant required immediately

Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to work in an behavioural unit in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to offer 1:1 support to a child with Social and Emotional Mental Health to support attainment and provide encouragement to these pupils. The ideal candidate will be fully Team Teach trained, experienced in this area and thrive on the challenge of a varied and demanding role. We are looking for teaching assistants to work within our SEN schools based in the Sheffield areas. We are keen to speak with teaching assistants who have a have a sincere passion from seeing results and are willing to work hard to ensure the developmental success of the child. We also look forward to hearing from teaching assistants with any SEN and PMLD experience as well as ASC or other learning difficulty experiences.

The successful candidate must be able to remain patient and calm when the pupil is feeling frustrated. The pupils social skills are relevantly poor meaning that it is important you can help enhance their communication skills and integrate them into the class.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
