Job description

A school in HD8 is looking for an outstanding teaching assistant who is Team-Teach trained to work with pupils with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). Such pupils can be disruptive, aggressive and consequently difficult to support. It will be raising self-esteem at every opportunity, ensuring a consistent approach to the child's behavioural difficulties and encouraging the provision of a positive classroom environment.

The school requires an immediate start after half term with the opportunity to go long term; the post will be on a part time basis.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
