Job description

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a Special Educational Need School in Maidenhead the area that caters for KS1, KS2 and KS3 pupils with Autism. This school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with Autism and associated learning and medical difficulties.

Successful candidates

  • Experience with Severe Epilepsy
  • Medical and/or Teaching Assistant background
  • Team Teach Trained (desirable but not essential)
  • Able to provide nursing care
  • Comfortable working 1:1 with primary and/or secondary children

Candidates are required to work full time 8.30am-16.30pm (although part time will be considered)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
