Teaching Personnel are currently looking for both qualified and newly qualified teachers in the Barnsley area of South Yorkshire to work on a supply basis for both day to day and long term cover.

We are looking for Teachers who have experience in high quality practice with the ability to plan exciting and engaging lessons to meet schools' high expectations of learning. We are looking for enthusiastic and resourceful candidates, who are willing to be good team members and represent Teaching Personnel in a positive way. Due to the work we currently have available, we are able to offer a Guaranteed Work Scheme to a select number of Teachers.

Applications from Final Years Students, NQTs and experienced Teachers are all welcomed.

The ideal Teacher would be;

  • An enthusiastic and resourceful individual
  • Able to teach all or either of EYFS/KS1/KS2
  • Committed to raising attainment through high quality teaching
  • The ability to plan and deliver exciting, engaging lessons
  • Knowledgeable about current assessments across Key Stages
  • Knowledge of SATs and phonics schemes would be beneficial but not essential

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
