Are you looking to work as a Teaching Assistant in South Manchester, Stockport, Tameside or Cheshire East? Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit teaching assistants to work with students who have moderate learning difficulties in the areas of social emotional mental health, autism, behaviour and dyslexia. The role of a teaching assistant involves working within an SEN department and supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis.

Teaching Personnel work with a wide range of secondary schools from traditional mixed comprehensives, single sex schools, colleges, grammar schools and academies providing a wide range of opportunities working with a wide range of students. We currently have positions starting straight away and for January 2019 that are part time, full time, temporary and permanent.

If you are currently working as a teaching assistant or have relevant experience working within a youth work or health care setting the role would be well suited to you.

We support aspiring teachers of the future supporting graduates who are looking to gain school based experience before starting their teacher training the following year.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
