Teaching Assistants required to start ASAP

Job description

Teaching Personnel are working very closely with a school in Cosham. The school cater for Secondary pupils that are diagnosed with Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties, Challenging Behaviour, Speech and Language Difficulties or a variation of all.

Working in the school would be Monday to Friday 8:30-15:30. They have class sizes of 4-5 in a class with a teacher and at least one Teaching Assistant. They offer a variety of subjects so if you have a passion in creative subjects this role would be ideal as you can utilise your skills in the classroom with the pupil. You may be asked to work 1:1 or in small groups as well as following direction from the teacher.

  • Flexible to help with a variety of pupils in a variety of situations

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
