Teaching Personnel work with a number of Schools in the Lancashire area and we are currently recruiting for a number of Special Educational Needs Schools and Behavioural Units. These Schools specifically cater for pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, Learning Difficulties, ADHD, ODD and Physical Disabilities and the Schools we are recruiting for tend to cater for all age groups.
The Schools in question are seeking hard working, empathetic, enthusiastic and intelligent Teaching Assistants to work in their Schools on a 1:1 and small group basis with their pupils. The Schools would ideally like to take on candidates on a part or full time basis who are looking for a career in education in the future. These roles would suit candidates coming from a health care, Psychology, Sports, Teaching and/or childcare background - ideally, the candidates will have experience supporting children with special educational needs but this is not essential.
The role will be ad-hoc, at least initially and we are seeking candidates with a minimum of 3 days availability throughout the week. School hours tend to be between 8.30am - 3.30pm and candidates will be expected to work full days. You will ideally be a driver as you may be expected to accept work last minute (e.g on the morning of the booking!)
These roles will pay between £9-10 per hour dependent on the role and your experience and candidates will get paid weekly.
