Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Chorley based SEN School who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible! The School itself is smaller than average and currently only caters for approximately 60 pupils with class sizes of under 8 pupils per class. The School provides education and support for pupils with PMLD, Autism, SEMH Difficulties, ODD, ADHD and Physical Disabilities. Some of the pupils in this School do display quite challenging behaviours and therefore candidates with their Team Teach qualification will be favoured but this is not essential.

The School is based centrally in the Chorley, Lancashire area! The School are looking for a hard working, empathetic, enthusiastic candidate with experience working with adults or children with additional needs. The School are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in their KS2 c;lass, however, as part of your role you may have to move around classes, therefore candidates must be willing to work with all age groups.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- negotiable pay rates £54 - 64 per day

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
