Teaching Personnel are seeking a full time Teaching Assistant to work at one of our local Croydon Primary schools from September 2022.

This friendly primary school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work with children across the school with additional needs. These may include autism, anxiety, challenging behaviour and other needs. You will be working in a classroom-based role, supporting students with activities set by the class teacher.

The school are ideally looking to appoint a full time Teaching Assistant who is looking to develop a career in education. This is an ideal role for recent graduates, or those looking for an exciting new role for the new academic year.

What are we looking for?

  • A calm, patient demeanour
  • Confidence working 1-1 and with small groups of students
  • GCSE Maths and English

Ideally you will have some experience of working in education, however this is not required. We are keen to hear from you if you have experience in any of the following:

  • Youth coaching
  • Psychology
  • EYFS/childcare
  • Education studies
  • Social or care work
  • Personal experience with SEN/SEMH

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
