Graduate future teachers needed to work in secondary schools providing academic and pastoral support to students aged 11-16. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to obtain school based experience before commencing a teacher training programme in the future. If you have recently graduated and are now wanting to obtain experience then we can provide this for you.
Teaching Personnel’s Future Teachers Programme started 4 years ago initially in partnership with 2 secondary schools, this has now expanded to 7 secondary schools throughout Greater Manchester. The role of a Graduate Future Teacher is full time and working hours generally 8:30am-3:30pm.
You will have the opportunity to support students in the subjects of English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Psychology and Languages to help them achieve their expected levels of progress. Aside from the academic support a large percentage of this role will be providing pastoral support to students that have moderate learning difficulties in the areas of social emotional mental health, autism, ADHD, behaviour and dyslexia.
Highlights of the graduate future teachers programme;
- Weekly pay up to £350 per week
- Full time position in a secondary school
- Excellent exposure and experience prior to commencing teacher training
- Access to Teaching Personnel’s CPD academy and training courses
To be eligible for this post you will need to hit the following criteria;
- University degree
- Flexible attitude and desire to go into teaching
- Ability to build rapport with young people
- Fully enhanced DBS certificate
- Employment or educational references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
