Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint highly motivated, committed Teaching Assistants to work in our client school.

The School has two campuses in Bournemouth, one caters for pupils with Autism and the other caters for pupils with Aspergers and learning disabilities.

As a Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for engaging the pupil in their education. Work will be set by the class teacher and you will support the pupil with their work.

This role can be challenging and therefore resilience is a key personal quality for the role. Successful candidates will be based at either campus in line with their skills, abilities and experience.

Positions are for 27.5 hours per week initially to be worked over 5 days, Monday to Friday 9.15 a.m. - 3.30 p.m., term time only. Consideration will be given to applicants, who wish to work fewer hours per week on the proviso those hours would be full days.

Experience working in a school isn't required, we would also welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds in Youth Work,Sports Coaching, Military, Custodial Service and Residential Care.

We have full time, part time and ad-hoc hours available.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
