Secondary Teaching Assistants

Are you an enthusiastic recent graduate with a passion for education? Do you aspire to help develop young minds? If so, we would love to hear from you!

Teaching Personnel's Teesside branch is currently in partnership with a number of schools in the Middlesbrough area who have placed an increasing demand on hiring Teaching Assistants, on both full-time and part-time basis. If you are working towards a career in teaching, or wish to gain some classroom experience alongside other commitments, then working with us will be highly beneficial to you.

Though candidates should ideally have prior experience working with young people-for example through tuition or support work-we are happy to consider individuals who show keen interest in the field through other means.

OVERVIEW

  • Full and part-time graduates required
  • Providing pupils with additional support in small groups and/or on a 1:1 basis
  • Overseeing the completion of cover work in the absence of teachers
  • Collaborating with the teacher to produce engaging teaching activities for pupils
  • Planning and arranging tailored sessions to pupils
